Mississauga, ON — January 13, 2026 — J-SAS Inc. announced the launch of its new Vendor Management module within ProtechSuite, giving organizations a structured and auditable way to assess, monitor, and manage third-party risk as part of their broader compliance and cybersecurity programs.

As regulatory frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001 place increasing emphasis on third-party risk management, organizations are under growing pressure to demonstrate not only that vendor risks are assessed, but that those assessments are reviewed, documented, and revisited over time. The new Vendor Management module addresses this need by embedding vendor risk assessments directly into ProtechSuite’s continuous compliance platform.

With the Vendor Management module, organizations can conduct standardized risk assessments for vendors, evaluate security maturity across functional areas, and document management decisions to approve or reject vendors based on risk. Each vendor record maintains a full assessment history, enabling teams to demonstrate consistency, accountability, and governance during audits.

The module also introduces structured review cadence management, allowing organizations to schedule vendor reassessments on a defined cycle and clearly track last review dates, upcoming reviews, and overall vendor health status. Supporting documentation and assessment evidence can be uploaded and reviewed alongside assessment results, helping teams centralize vendor-related information and reduce audit preparation effort.

“Vendor risk is no longer a one-time checkbox,” said Ryan Devers, Vice President of Product Strategy at J-SAS. “Organizations need a repeatable, defensible process for assessing vendors and proving that oversight continues over time. This module gives our customers a practical way to operationalize vendor risk management within their existing compliance workflows.”

The Vendor Management module is available immediately to ProtechSuite customers and integrates seamlessly with existing modules such as Risk Management and Audit Readiness.

For organizations interested in learning more about why vendor risk assessments matter and how they drive compliance effectiveness, further reading is available in J-SAS’s recent blog post: Why Vendor Risk Assessments Matter for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 Compliance.
